Ny’alotha, the Waking City

Ny’alotha, the Waking City is the fifth and final raid in Battle for Azeroth. In total, 12 bosses are presented in the raid, which will become available on January 22nd.

In most raids of the Battle for Azeroth expansion, the player can receive items with the «Forged by the Titans» or «Forged in Battle» properties. In this regard, the raid «nyalotha mythic, the Waking City» was an exception — instead, items obtained in the raid will be damaged by corruption.

FatbossTV has prepared combat tactics guides for each boss in the Ny’alotha, the Waking City raid. They contain tips for each of the roles, and detailed information on Normal and Heroic battles.

Wrathion, Black Emperor — Despite all his tricks, Wrathion could not protect himself from the madness that once possessed his father. N’Zoth infiltrated the Black Prince’s mind and assured him that the only way to save Azeroth was to rule it on behalf of the Old God. The former prince is now ready to accept the rightful title of the Black Emperor.
Maut — As the ancient Akirs rose from the desert sands, their prophets set about creating an obsidian destroyer capable of containing the essence of the Old Gods. Once revived, the insatiable Maut absorbed the magic of his creators and left their lifeless bodies to decay under the scorching sun of Uldum.
Prophet Skitra — The Prophet Skitra is a master of illusion, distorting perception and enjoying the horror of his victims. Those who succumb to his deception lose all hope of getting out of Ny’alotha and remain in it forever.
Dark Inquisitor Zanesh — Few are able to resist the voice of N’Zoth — and those who succeed are put to the «mercy» of the Dark Inquisitor Zanesh. An unsurpassed master of torture, she prides herself on her ability to slowly drive her victims to madness, turning them into devout followers of the Corruptor.
Hive Mind — Ka’zeer and Tek’ris wage an eternal duel of will, challenging the swarm’s dominion. Seizing control of the lesser Akirs, they force the hive to change tactics, following the orders of both commanders with equal zeal.
Shad’har the Insatiable — Shad’har the Insatiable is one of N’Zoth’s most nightmarish creations. Servants of the Old God dump corrupted corpses into the creature’s lair, and Shad’har, who suffers from eternal hunger, devours them, passing through an endless cycle of mutations.
Dest’agath — A grotesque mass of coalesced flesh known as Dest’agath that lay dormant in the bowels of Ny’alotha for thousands of years, until N’Zoth’s return awakened it to life. Now it rises from the ground like a huge abscess, about to burst through and fill all of Azeroth with poisonous pus.
Il’gynoth, Corruption Reborn — Defeated in the Emerald Nightmare, Il’gynoth returned to the depths of Ny’alotha. Here it merged with the very fabric of the nightmare city and spread throughout the Dark Empire like a malignant tumor. As the corrupted carcass grows, the monster’s power also grows continuously.
Vexiona — Vexiona revels in the power that N’Zoth gave her. Gathering a sect of fanatical followers who also dream of receiving the gifts of the Abyss, Vexiona turns the most loyal cultists into nightmarish creatures, performing rituals at the top of her temple in the Dark Empire.
Ra-den the Desperate — Ra-den fought valiantly to defend the Hall of Heart — but was pulled into Ny’alotha and fell victim to the whispers of N’Zoth. The despair that Ra-den had kept in himself for so long prevailed, extinguishing the last spark of hope, and corruption took possession of the former keeper. Now he is ready to fulfill the will of the Old God without hesitation.
Carapace of N’Zoth — An eerie mess of flesh, eyes, and ugly growths rises like a mountain in the center of Ny’alotha. Pure madness oozes in all directions from this writhing mass, maddening everything.
